I directed  the first public sharing of work written by the Old Vic New Voices writers on attachment.  All the monologues were written as a response to  Housed , an Old Vic New Voices production by David Watson, which explored the theme of housing in the UK. The performers were selected from the Old Vic Community Company.

I was Assistant Director on Housed at the Old Vic . I was fortunate enough to work with some really gifted, brilliant people. I loved every minute of the process and I could not be more proud of the finished show; the performances, the staging, and the message at its heart. A special thanks to director Alex Ferris , who was trusting, supportive and taught me a lot. Photos / video from an installation performance/video project. This project began with the creation of Guillaume Retz, a pre-war French animator. The idea was to explore myth by creating one. I made his animations and wrote his history and we transformed a shop in Finsbury Park into a museum in his honour, complete with details of the great man’s life. The Guillaume Retz Museum was complete with guided tours from internationally-recognised Retz experts. Guillaume Retz’s story was spun further into a one­-on-­one performance in his abandoned studio (a replica built in Finsbury Park) and a short film shot in France.
